The Beginning of USTBA - USA, Now USTSA USA
Founded in 2008 and reformed as USTBA - USA. Softball was added after the highly successful USTSA of California. The USTSA USA of California is based here in Southern California and was formerly affiliated with Super Series Baseball for 8 years. The rapidly growing USTBA - USA of California is a member of the USTBA - USA National Organization which is based in the state of Georgia. The USTSA - USA is a National Organization that currently has over 1,800 registered teams playing in 14 States across the country. Because of the rapid success of these organizations and the desire to do the same for girls travel softball the USTBA - USA was launched here in Southern California. It is our desire to provide every team entered in one of our tournaments with the best possible experience for the 2009 season and beyond.
Tournament Facilities
Minimum guidelines are in place to assure teams will participate on quality playing fields in quality facilities. The USTSA - USA has a checklist regarding the quality of any facility where a tournament is being hosted in order to provide players with the best possible playing conditions. The game of softball should be enjoyable and the purpose of the checklist is to insure that the player's performance is not affected by sub-par conditions of the softball field.
